Bitcoin Network Data

A live view of Bitcoin's base-layer conditions: network security, mining difficulty, mempool congestion and transaction fee pressure. Built for context, not trading signals.

Network Hashrate

Current network-wide estimate. Higher hashrate generally means more computational work is securing Bitcoin.

Mining Difficulty

Current proof-of-work difficulty, normalized to trillions.

Retarget estimate currently unavailable.

Mempool Backlog

Unconfirmed transaction backlog.

Transaction Fee Market

Suggested fee rates published by mempool.space, measured in satoshis per virtual byte.

Difficulty Adjustment

Bitcoin retargets mining difficulty every 2,016 blocks to keep average block production near ten minutes.

Average Block Time

Observed average during the current adjustment window.

Next Retarget Height

Block height at which the next difficulty adjustment is expected.

Estimated Retarget

Estimate can move as block production speeds up or slows down.

How to Read Network Conditions

Hashrate and difficulty describe the mining environment and the amount of computation securing the network. Mempool size and fee estimates describe current demand for limited block space. These metrics can move independently and should be interpreted as network conditions rather than price indicators.

Methodology & Source

TCP retrieves Bitcoin mainnet data from the public mempool.space REST API. Values are validated and normalized for display; TCP does not fabricate replacement readings when the upstream service is unavailable.
